Data We Collect

Account and Identity Data

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and any profile details you choose to provide. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card details.

Usage and Behavioural Data

We collect data about how you interact with Radar 61, including features accessed, signal cards viewed, alerts configured, watchlists created, session duration, and navigation patterns. This data is used to improve the platform and personalise your experience.

Platform Configuration Data

Your workspace layout, module preferences, signal filter settings, watchlist contents, and notification configurations are stored to enable personalisation and restore your environment across sessions.

Technical and Device Data

We automatically collect certain technical data, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, time zone, and referring URLs. This data supports security, fraud prevention, and platform diagnostics.

Integration Data

If you connect third-party integrations such as MT4, MT5, or TradingView, we may receive limited data from those platforms to facilitate the integration. We do not access or store your broker credentials beyond what is necessary for the integration to function.

Communications Data

If you contact our support team or send us feedback, we retain that correspondence for quality assurance and response purposes.

04

How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate access
  • Deliver and operate the Radar 61 platform and its features
  • Process subscription payments and billing communications
  • Personalise signal feeds, alert logic, and workspace configuration to your preferences
  • Send service-related communications, including transactional emails, security alerts, and product update notices
  • Improve platform performance, fix bugs, and develop new features based on aggregated usage patterns
  • Ensure platform security, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms and Conditions
  • Notify you about changes to our Service
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you without human oversight.

05

Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on:

  • Contract performance: Processing necessary to deliver the service you subscribed to
  • Legitimate interests: Improving the platform, maintaining security, and fraud prevention, where those interests are not overridden by your rights
  • Legal obligation: Where we are required to process data to comply with applicable law
  • Consent: Where we ask for and receive your consent, including for optional marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time
06

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party service providers to support platform operations, including cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and customer support tooling. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements and are obligated not to disclose or use your data for any other purpose.

Third-Party Integrations

When you connect a third-party integration, limited data may be exchanged with that platform as required for the integration to function. You control which integrations you enable.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or regulatory request, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Radar 61, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections. We will provide notice before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

07

Data Retention

  • Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus up to 3 years following closure
  • Billing and transaction records are retained as required by applicable financial or tax law
  • Usage and behavioural data in aggregated, anonymised form may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes

If we become aware that a minor has registered an account, we will delete the account and associated data promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us at hello@radar61.com.
